about itsy
the story behind the brand, and why the basics deserved better.
Everywhere we looked we saw either cartoon prints meant for kids or beige strips that feel more clinical than wearable. And packaging that was either flimsy and easily torn or bulky tins.
We wanted something sized right, comfortable to wear, and made with color and personality…without looking childish. A brand that fits into modern life and housed in packaging that isn't meant to be hidden away and that is easily portable
We created bandages that actually fit everyday cuts. Our Tiny and Small sizes go beyond what you find with every other brand.
Packaging isn’t an afterthought for us either, it’s part of the user experience.
The house-shaped silhouette gives itsy its unique identity: compact, lightweight, easy to open and close and instantly recognizable. It’s the kind of design you won’t mind taking out in public and that’s exactly the point.
Right-size bandages that fit everyday cuts. Soft, breathable fabric. Latex-free, non-irritating adhesive. Colors chosen with intention, not novelty. Packaging that elevates the whole experience from start to finish.
I grew up loving fun, colorful bandages as a kid, but as I got older, the choices got boring: too big, too beige or clearly meant for children. I started itsy to bring back that playful spark to everyday bandages; something sized right, designed well, and made to wear not hide.
